Vat Changes 2009 - 2010


The Standard VAT Rate of 15% will change to 17.5% from the 31st of December 2009!!

How To Change Vat Rates in Sage 50?

1 From within Sage, click on settings and select ‘Configuration’
2 In the following screen, select the tab marked ‘Tax Codes’
3 Highlight the tax code marked T1 and click on the EDIT button at the bottom
4 Amend the entry showing 15.00 to 17.50
5 Click OK, then click APPLY, and then click CLOSE

* Based on T1 tax code being 15% before starting.
